Young Shakespeare

Key Stage Two children have recently had a fantastic opportunity to learn about and get involved with the great Shakespearean tragedy Macbeth. With key events of the play being performed by members of the Young Shakespeare Company, some of the children took on roles from the story and were encouraged to discuss what was happening and the significance of the language being used. It was an engaging afternoon of learning provided by professional actors working for an acclaimed national theatre company – this amazing experience was possible thanks to the school’s previous fundraising  events last Christmas and during the summer.
